Favorites | March

I cannot believe March is already over. Where has the time gone? But I am excited that since it is the end of the month I get to start this series! Every month I will be sharing my favorite things like beauty products, things for the home, music and anything else that left a mark on my month. So without further ado here are my favorites for the month of March!

This month I discovered a fresh new setting mist: Pixi’s Makeup Fixing Mist. I have been using it at night after I take my makeup off and moisturize my skin. This mist is made with rose water and green tea, doesn’t that sound so fresh? I have been loving this. Plus it smells like roses, so good! I like the way it refreshes my skin right before going to bed.

Another awesome discovery was this baked blush from Milani. Oh my goodness where have you been all my life? The color I purchased is Rose D’ Oro. It’s a peachy shade with a gold shimmer that doesn’t show to much on your skin but it does give a really nice glow. It looks really natural on the skin.  And for $8.00 this is gold. I cannot wait to try some of their other products.

As you saw in my first post I have quite a few nail polishes, needless to say finding a color polish I don’t already own is hard. I always roam nail polish stands looking for a color that will catch my eye and this month I found it. This color is actually the color my bridesmaids wore for my wedding, so that makes it extra special. It’s Sonia Kashuks ” Diven Sage”, its a unique sage green with a grey undertone. I have received so many compliments on this color! Also, can we talk about this formula? It’s amazing! I have had my nails painted with this color for almost a week and still no chips, whoa…

I have naturally curly hair and those of us with curly hair know how much of a love hate relationship it is. When I  find a product that is actually helping my curls I honestly think my heart skips a beat (ok, maybe that’s an exaggeration)… I don’t normally use mousse in my hair because I feel it volumizes way more than gel. I decided to give the L’Oreal Air Dry It Ruffled Body Mousse a try. I don’t use this when my hair is wet, instead I use it the next day when my hair needs a bit of a refresh. I’ll wet my hair a bit to revive the curls and then I’ll put a quarter size of this mousse in my hand and scrunch it in. Also, it smells so good. I have really been enjoying this new little add in to my curly hair routine.

Ok, I have a confession to make … I am obsessed with Joanna Gains and Fixer Upper! Seriously though I love her decor and how creative she is with what she adds to every space. Since my husband knows how much I love Fixer Upper he bought me the subscription to The Magnolia Journal for Christmas (he’s so dreamy). The spring issue was my first issue and although it arrived in February, I was only able to sit down and read it this month. I love the articles and the photography. I was actually inspired by her section on Spring Cleaning for my last blog post – thanks Jojo!

So those are my favorites for the month of March. I hope you enjoyed this post! I would love to know what some of your favorites were 🙂

Thank you for being here and being a part of this journey!

& God Bless You ♥
