Hi friends! Welcome to my lifestyle/beauty blog! I hope you find this page inspiring, full of hope and helpful along this journey of life. I am not a professional writer, a makeup guru, interior designer, professional cook or inspirational speaker but I am a girl that enjoys all of the above and would love to share what I learn with you.
I wanted to start this off with a look at some great Spring nail polishes – obviously because Springs official start is MONDAY! I know, if you’re in New Jersey it doesn’t feel as though Spring is knocking on our door, but there is hope people!
If you know me you know that I love nail polish. If I don’t have nail polish on my nails I actually feel naked (eeek)!
This is my little corner of happiness at home. It’s where I keep my nail polishes and makeup. I love both the quotes I have hanging on the wall there:
“Do all things with love”
“A woman is only helpless when her nail polish is drying”
So I went through my nail polishes and picked out my favorite colors for Spring. Sit back and start planning your next nail color ladies!
This year I have noticed a trend in both fashion and nail polish launches – lots of pastels. That makes my heart happy 🙂
Here are some of my favorite pastelly nail polishes for Spring:
Everyone needs a basic white in their nail polish collection. White is a classic color that looks great on everyone. I don’t know about you, but I have always had a hard time finding a white nail polish that doesn’t chip easily. Well guess what … I found one! This OPI nail polish is one of the first white polishes that doesn’t chip on me. Maybe it’s because its an OPI nail polish. OPI has an amazing formula. The crisp white color is “Alpine Snow” and I love it for Spring!
This next color is for all those gals that don’t particularly like a white nail polish on their nails. I love this color from Essie “Find Me An Oasis“. It’s a very light blue that almost looks white and its a very refreshing color especially after all the dark nail polishes you probably wore all winter. Its perfect for spring and I think I might just paint my nails with it right now!
“Virgin Snow” another beautiful Essie color. Although the picture looks more blue toned this color has a lavender undertone which is so pretty for Easter time! Its a very pure color and the formula on this one is actually pretty good.
Now you didn’t think I would do this post without a pink nail polish, did you? This particular shade of pink is so perfect. This is “Flower Crown” by Sally Hansen the gel formula. I love all shades of pink but this particular nail polish has a white iridescence to it. This was part of the Secret Garden collection which was a limited edition so I am not sure its still available. But if you can find it – you need it. (Also, I don’t always use the gel top coat that you’re suppose to use with it. Any top coat works)
Last but not least is this coral nail polish from Julep called “Teri“. It’s the perfect Spring and Summer color because it’s bright. If you aren’t familiar with Julep nail polishes you can find them at Nordstrom, Amazon and Ulta. I actually found Julep when looking for a nail polish subscription. Julep offers a monthly subscription in which you can receive their nail polishes.
Spring is a great time to have fun with your nail polish selection and choose colors that will brighten your day.
I hope you enjoyed this post and maybe found a new nail polish for your collection. Leave me a comment below if you have another color you feel would be great for the Spring time – I am always looking for new colors!
Also, like this post if you want to see more nail polish related posts – like maybe my favorite tops coats? I’ve tried so many and think I found one I actually think works. 🙂
Thank you for being here and being a part of this journey! Talk to you soon 🙂
& God Bless You ♥
